Job Overview

The Facility Engineer I is tasked with coordinating installation and repair activities ensuring minimal downtime and efficient maintenance. The role requires technical expertise in electrical and mechanical facility engineering to support operational excellence and safety compliance.

Key Duties

• Coordinate and monitor maintenance schedules to reduce operational interruptions.
• Assist in analyzing maintenance costs relative to Asset Replacement Value for informed decision-making on repairs or replacements.
• Support adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Conduct facility inspections and document conditions impacting operations.
• Compile and submit weekly management reports.
• Initiate and manage maintenance requests within the ERP system and ensure accurate asset data entry.
• Report and facilitate prompt resolution of hazards affecting safety or the environment.
• Assist in planning and implementing maintenance programs alongside supervisors.
• Provide technical support for installation, startup, repairs, training, and adjustments relating to power transmission equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding workplace information and processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Preferred possession of relevant professional certifications such as PMP.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in facility engineering roles.
• Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills conducive to a multicultural work environment.
• Understanding of major electrical and mechanical equipment operations.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, facility services, and modern maintenance and construction methodologies.
