About the Role
Anonet Communications Private Limited is seeking a Fiber Engineer to be based at A-19, Sector 16, Noida. The engineer will primarily focus on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of FTTH fiber networks, ensuring high network uptime and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation and upkeep of FTTH fiber optic networks.
- Handle and resolve service requests within stipulated SLA timelines.
- Conduct fiber splicing, carry out testing procedures, and verify power levels.
- Execute preventive maintenance on fiber access terminals (FATs), joint closures (JCs), chambers, and overhead fiber lines.
- Restore network outages caused by fiber cuts promptly.
- Regularly patrol fiber routes, document authority works, and maintain detailed work reports including power readings and photographic evidence before and after tasks.
- Collaborate closely with Network Operations Center (NOC) teams to maintain optimal network availability.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and proper tool maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in FTTH network technology.
- Experienced in fiber splicing and optical testing methods including OTDR and power meter use.
- Competent in fiber testing and troubleshooting techniques.
