Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

As a Field Supervisor stationed in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, you will be responsible for comprehensive site management including daily attendance tracking, coordination of operator and equipment deployment, and ensuring smooth operational workflows.

Core Duties

• Maintain precise daily records of attendance and availability at the site.
• Analyze operator attendance regarding working hours, idle time, and shortages; monitor status of rented equipment including breakdowns and operational condition.
• Prioritize and plan site activities to align with project needs.
• Manage and report equipment breakdowns effectively.
• Track operator shortages by consolidating data from multiple supervisors across sites.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts to address operator shortages.
• Facilitate and arrange operator training programs in collaboration with training and resource teams.
• Conduct evaluations of operator competency and skill sets.
• Assign operators to sites based on current vacancies and operator skills.
• Engage with customers to plan and execute the deployment of operators according to their specific requirements.
• Review and understand customer work and purchase orders to ensure all requisite documents for operators and equipment are identified and secured.
• Liaise with the sales team for updates on document preparation requirements.
• Ensure necessary operator and equipment documentation are arranged and delivered, including Third Party Inspection (TPI), insurance, pollution certificates, experience certificates, and driving licenses.
• Organize third-party inspections by coordinating vendor support to satisfy customer demands.
• Study loading and unloading scopes for customer sites, and plan site visits to supervise such activities.
• Coordinate equipment loading/unloading logistics, including arranging hydraulic vehicles, ensuring placement safety with tires, ropes, and chains.
• Optimize budget allocation by exploring available options and negotiating for the best rates.
• Conduct daily meetings with customers at site visits to gather feedback and initiate corrective actions.
• Manage and allocate funds related to operator PPEs, medical, travel, accommodation, conveyance, equipment inspection (TPI), pollution check, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
• Ensure weekly submission of operator logsheets and daily follow-up on attendance; verify and forward monthly attendance and overtime details to HR.
• Assign salary grades to new operators and update existing operators' salaries based on performance appraisals conducted monthly.
• Review operator performance on a monthly basis.
• Collect, verify, and approve monthly bills and claims, ensuring alignment with allocated funds and supervisor approval.
• Coordinate with billing teams to prepare and certify monthly summaries and invoices within the region.
• Ensure timely courier dispatch of all claims and bills to company headquarters.
• Engage customers to obtain certification for monthly summaries and invoices to guarantee 100% certification compliance.

Additional Information

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Vijayawada. The role demands close interaction with multiple departments including HR, sales, training, billing, and customers. Attention to detail and effective communication are crucial for facilitating seamless operations and maintaining high service standards.

Compensation

The offered salary is ₹25,000 per month.
