Role Overview

Joining as a Founding Operations Lead, you will collaborate closely with company founders to oversee and enhance daily operational functions. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach to address immediate operational challenges and simultaneously develop scalable systems and processes supporting Sparrow's growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage customer claims and operational workflows, including handling complex cases, escalations, and customer communications
• Conduct thorough reviews, submissions, and processing of claims
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor operational performance metrics
• Oversee relationships with vendors involved in operational processes
• Detect inefficient or repetitive procedures and partner with engineering teams to implement automation solutions
• Lead critical projects that may span multiple domains or fall outside established functions

Candidate Profile

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high ownership responsibilities
• Exceptional judgment paired with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including direct engagement with customers
• Process-oriented mindset focused on enhancing inefficient systems
• Holds a bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, legal studies, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FinTech or Legal Tech sectors
• Proficiency in SQL or comparable data analysis tools
• At least one year of startup experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary ranging between $100,000 and $120,000
• Equity stake of 0.5% to 0.75%
