Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled mid-level Frontend Developer to join our team as a contract freelancer. This position suits individuals who thrive in dynamic settings, enjoy teamwork across diverse disciplines, and can swiftly integrate into a well-established development group.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and improve sophisticated React-based web applications.
Create responsive, accessible, and efficient user interfaces.
Collaborate extensively with designers, back-end engineers, Unreal Engine developers, and project management personnel.
Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and existing backend services.
Produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to industry best practices.
Engage in code reviews and actively participate in technical team discussions.
Consistently deliver high-quality outcomes while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Candidate Profile

At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
Background in fast-paced agency, studio, or product development environments.
Ability to quickly understand and work within existing codebases.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proactive and self-driven, capable of working independently in a distributed team setup.
Genuine enthusiasm for creating refined digital user experiences.

Essential Skills

Robust commercial experience using React.
Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors such as SASS/LESS or CSS-in-JS techniques.
Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript expertise.
Experience with Git version control and contemporary frontend tools like npm and Vite/Webpack.
Skilled in building responsive, mobile-first web applications.
Familiarity with integrating frontend components with RESTful APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Web Components.
Experience working within Agile development teams.
Exposure to design systems or reusable component libraries.
Understanding of accessibility standards and frontend performance optimization.
Experience with 3D, WebGL, or interactive digital technologies.
Some familiarity with Unreal Engine workflows is advantageous.
