Position Overview

Fresh Ideas Management, a vibrant food service company, is actively seeking full-time Bakers to join their team located at Cowley College, 125 South 2nd Street, Arkansas City, KS. Work Schedule and Location

The position follows a Monday through Friday full-time schedule with hours varying as detailed during the interview.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked products, including breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries, in alignment with daily production and catering requirements.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Contribute to production documentation, tracking waste, usage, and inventory levels, and alert supervisors about supply needs.
• Maintain presentation standards, quality control, portion sizes, and correct serving temperatures of baked goods.
• Keep the work area, equipment, utensils, and display units clean, ordered, and compliant with safety standards.
• Handle food products with care following all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Engage professionally with customers, addressing complaints courteously and relaying important feedback to supervisors.
• Work efficiently during peak production and service times, ensuring tasks are completed timely and accurately.
• Perform additional duties as necessary for smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on baking experience is essential for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $13.00 to $14.00.
