Role Overview

As a Healthcare Program Manager, you will spearhead enterprise-wide healthcare projects aimed at improving operations, elevating member experiences, and promoting high-quality clinical results. Collaborating closely with executive sponsors and cross-functional teams, you will steer strategic programs from conception through execution by leveraging data-driven insights, ensuring stakeholder involvement, and applying continuous process improvements to deliver measurable outcomes. This role is fully remote, restricted to candidates residing in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of multifaceted healthcare programs, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with executive leaders, clinical staff, operations, technology, finance, and external partners to set priorities, orchestrate resources, and fulfill program objectives.
• Develop comprehensive program strategies, governance frameworks, work plans, timelines, performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to track progress and inform decisions.
• Identify risks, interdependencies, and opportunities within programs, proactively deploying solutions to maintain momentum and achieve success.
• Conduct analysis of operational, financial, and clinical data to uncover areas needing improvement, build business cases, and suggest strategic enhancements.
• Assess program outcomes through ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful implementation of new processes and programs.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, updates, and documentation that clearly illustrate progress, key insights, and recommendations.
• Contribute to refining healthcare strategies, operational workflows, and governance structures as organizational priorities shift.
• Offer education, guidance, and implementation support to internal teams and business partners throughout program lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline; advanced degree is advantageous.
• At least 8 years of experience managing programs or projects within healthcare, health insurance, clinical operations, or other large-scale organizations.
• Deep understanding of healthcare operations, clinical programs, terminology, and trends; hands-on clinical program experience is preferred.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-departmental projects while balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders, risks, and deadlines.
• Skilled in developing program metrics, dashboards, reporting tools, and evaluation methods to measure effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to interpret intricate data, formulate practical recommendations, and craft persuasive business cases.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building aptitudes, with the ability to influence and present to executive leadership.
• Experience fostering productive alliances with internal teams, external vendors, and partners towards shared goals.
• Knowledge of project management principles, operational metrics, and financial concepts to support strategic delivery.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced tools that boost productivity, analysis, reporting, or decision-making is a significant plus.

Additional Information

This position offers a 12-month contract at a rate of $35 per hour and is strictly remote. Eligible applicants must reside in the states of Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho.
