Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper/Apartment Cleaner to join our Malta-based team. This onsite role will involve preparing apartments in locations such as Sliema and St. Julian's before guest arrivals, ensuring that each property meets high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and prepare short-let apartments prior to guest check-in.
- Change linens and make beds to impeccable standards.
- Clean all areas including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, balconies, and living spaces.
- Replenish guest amenities and essential supplies consistently.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
- Adhere strictly to cleaning checklists and maintain brand quality standards.
- Efficiently manage apartment turnovers within limited timeframes between check-outs and check-ins.
- Effectively communicate with operations and guest services teams.
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with guests and building staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hotel services, serviced apartments, or short-let rentals is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work swiftly, reliably, and handle time-sensitive tasks.
- Diligent work ethic with readiness to assume responsibility.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple apartment turnovers.
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to follow detailed procedures, checklists, and instructions accurately.
- Basic English language skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Malta.
- Having personal transportation is advantageous.
