Role Overview
The Inventory Planner will be tasked with demand forecasting for inventory, supporting strategic stock processes, and regular operational performance reporting. This role includes responsibility for inventory control and optimization to improve stock efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels, goods in transit, and OSMi within assigned stockrooms.
- Analyze and maintain inventory parameters for standard assortment in designated stockrooms.
- Oversee strategic stock management in assigned stock areas.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive enhancements in inventory control processes.
- Conduct stock optimization activities regularly, including managing returns processes.
- Monitor and adjust stock distribution to ensure optimization.
- Track critical spares effectively.
- Coordinate with end users and OBP to ensure parts and tools forecast commitments are synchronized.
- Align scheduling with involved stakeholders appropriately.
