Role Overview
The IT Support Engineer position plays a critical part in maintaining Torus's internal infrastructure, supporting teams ranging from engineering to manufacturing and field operations. The role demands troubleshooting, maintenance, and precise documentation of internal systems to ensure smooth operations across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for IT issues via email, Slack, or ticketing systems.
- Manage all facets of the organization's network systems including software and hardware administration and support.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures to enhance knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Oversee setup, configuration, and deployment of platforms and systems.
- Administer user access rights and permissions, ensuring security and data integrity.
- Address performance problems and service disruptions promptly.
- Update and maintain IT system documentation affecting multiple teams.
- Carry out additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Network Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, although relevant experience may substitute.
- At least one year of experience in an IT helpdesk role.
- Proficient with Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, and productivity suites like Office 365 or Google Workspace.
- Experience utilizing Jira ITSM and Slack for ticket tracking and communication.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities covering hardware, software, and networking aspects.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent communication skills alongside dedicated customer service orientation.
