The Junior Project Controller position is fully remote and dedicated to keeping an accurate and reliable record of technical projects.

Role Objectives

This role primarily concentrates on maintaining precise project data integrity. When managing numerous small technical updates concurrently, data can become disorganized. Schedules shift due to ambiguous routing protocols, and resource records may no longer align with system logs. Your responsibility is to ensure clarity by tracing project details to their origins, confirming that reports align with real-time activities. This role emphasizes accurate project status, timeline validity, and up-to-date documentation rather than large-scale strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze daily project logs to verify accurate recording of technical updates by engineers.
• Cross-check internal trackers with client spreadsheets to detect discrepancies in data.
• Modify routing rules in project management software to automatically assign new tasks correctly.
• Reconcile monthly resource utilization logs to verify all effort is linked to specific tickets or fixes.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures based on improved tracking methods for routine tasks.
• Identify integration gaps where information flow between tracking tools and client systems fails.
• Compile weekly status reports highlighting factual progress and technical issues instead of vague milestones.
• Monitor backlog to find older unresolved tickets neglected during system updates.
