noon SEND is the fast-delivery division of noon, operating a proprietary fleet across the UAE for on-demand parcel deliveries. We serve marketplaces, direct-to-consumer brands, SMEs, and large enterprise clients, prioritizing speed, reliability, and scale.
Role Overview
Join a dynamic, driven, and talented team charged with major projects. As Lead, Business Development, you will manage a strategic segment of merchants and act as both a player and coach to a small business development team. You will directly close complex deals, create the team's operational playbook, and be accountable for the revenue, pipeline, and account management within your segment. This senior individual contributor role offers a trajectory into management as the team expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and close lucrative contracts with enterprise clients, large D2C brands, marketplaces, and market leaders.
- Design and negotiate long-term agreements, volume-based commitments, SLA-driven pricing models, and other commercial arrangements.
- Guide and mentor a team of 2–4 BD Executives and Specialists by reviewing pipelines, coaching sales pitches, resolving obstacles, and conducting weekly forecasting sessions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Fleet for capacity planning and with Product teams for roadmap input.
- Develop and implement the commercial operating plan and sales playbook.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B commercial sectors such as business development, enterprise sales, key account management, or commercial strategy.
- Background in logistics, last-mile delivery, third-party logistics, e-commerce enablement, marketplace partnerships, payments, or retail-focused SaaS is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable analyzing unit economics and creating pricing strategies.
- Experience in coaching junior commercial staff, with readiness to take on direct reports within 6 to 12 months.
- Confident in pitching to founders and key decision-makers.
- Excellent pipeline management, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with AI-based tools.
- Deep understanding of the UAE market and established senior relationships in e-commerce, D2C, retail, or logistics sectors are advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is beneficial but not essential.
