- Lead safety-related activities such as risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Build a cooperative relationship between Production and Maintenance and standardize maintenance practices in line with the site philosophy.
- Lead, coach, and develop superintendents, supervisors, and the wider maintenance workforce, including onboarding and capability development for new hires.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to root cause failure analysis.
Requirements
- An engineering degree or an equivalent level of proven experience is required; mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability systems and processes is essential.
- Good knowledge of aluminum or casthouse operations and equipment is needed.
- At least 10 years of maintenance experience is required, including leadership experience in aluminum, casthouse, or another heavy industry environment.

- The candidate should bring strong safety and environmental leadership, communication skills, labor relations capability, and financial awareness.
- The role suits a person with strategic thinking, sound judgment, analytical ability, initiative, and a mindset focused on improvement and development of others.
