Role summary
The organization is hiring a Manager, Events to support the events sales function and help drive business growth through strong client servicing, partner relationships, and well-executed sales planning.
What the role involves
- Support the Director, Events in running and delivering sales initiatives that contribute to set business targets.
- Share sales goals and priorities clearly with team members so everyone works in the same direction.
- Lead event sales efforts with both local and overseas partners to create more business opportunities.
- Carry out the sales plan and related action items from the overall sales strategy to strengthen revenue performance.
- Keep service quality and sales standards high across the team to support guest satisfaction and repeat bookings.
- Create inventive event proposals and customized solutions that suit the needs of business partners and customers.
- Handle corporate accounts, including drafting contracts, arranging site visits, negotiating terms, and following up after events.
- Manage event and catering sales across meeting rooms, functions, and outdoor venues serving multiple market segments.
What the employer is seeking
- Background in managing corporate accounts within event sales.
- Prior exposure to catering or event sales, especially across different venue types and market segments, is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with contract preparation, site inspections, client negotiation, and post-event client care.
