About the Role
This opportunity is for a Marketing Analyst based in Canada, offered through a partnering organization handling all applications and subsequent steps. The role is ideal for a data-oriented professional passionate about converting marketing data into strategic business insights. Working remotely within a collaborative environment, you will engage closely with cross-functional teams to scrutinize campaign results, track crucial metrics, and uncover opportunities to enhance marketing impact. Your work will involve compiling data from diverse sources and generating insightful reports that assist in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and refine weekly and monthly marketing performance reports that underpin business decisions.
- Track key performance indicators for products and advertising campaigns, identifying and analyzing notable variations to determine underlying causes.
- Gather, merge, and examine data from various origins to produce clear, meaningful visual representations.
- Develop analytical summaries and reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Offer practical suggestions to enhance campaign results, customer acquisition, and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Work alongside marketing and business teams to guarantee precise reporting and support data-driven strategy formulation.
- Assist in the analysis of A/B testing experiments, providing statistical insights to optimize marketing activities and experiment outcomes.
- Continuously enhance reporting workflows, dashboards, and analytical techniques to boost efficiency and data accuracy.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in a technical, mathematical, economics, business, or related analytical field.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, including advanced usage of functions and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with MS SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience in supporting or evaluating A/B test initiatives.
- A solid understanding of mathematical statistics and its application in marketing data analysis.
- English language competence at B2 level or above.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to present complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Basic Python knowledge is a plus.
- Preferred experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and BI tools such as Tableau or Apache Superset.
