Marketing Data Operations Analyst

Role Overview

Trident Consulting is looking for a Marketing Data Operations Analyst to support a global leader in business and technology services through a remote contract role. This position centers on maintaining and optimizing marketing data systems and processes to drive effective workflows within Marketing and Sales teams in a dynamic SaaS setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage initiatives involving contact acquisition, data enrichment, and maintaining high data quality across platforms used by Marketing and Sales.
• Maintain and verify the accuracy of lead routing rules, assignment workflows, and other operational systems.
• Diagnose and address problems related to data integrity, lead routing, and system functionality in Salesforce and related tools.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades, integrations, and deployment of new technology solutions.
• Create and update operational dashboards, reports, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify and implement improvements to business processes to increase automation and operational productivity.
• Collaborate closely with teams from Marketing, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, IT, and other departments on strategic projects.
• Oversee data quality monitoring and suggest enhancements to uphold accurate business reporting and operational standards.
• Document business processes and support ongoing efforts for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Analytics, or a closely related discipline, or commensurate experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in roles such as Marketing Operations, Business or Revenue Operations, Data Operations, or similar analytical positions.
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities coupled with acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and solve operational challenges.
• Capability to quickly learn new technologies and adjust within a fast-changing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Salesforce CRM systems.
• Knowledge of lead routing platforms such as LeanData or equivalent.
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and sales technology tools.
• Basic knowledge in SQL, reporting, or Business Intelligence tools.
• Exposure to maintaining data quality, lead management, and operational workflows.
• Experience in SaaS environments and in collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

This role is a remote contract opportunity offering $38 per hour on a W2 basis, with a minimum commitment of 12 months. The position is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys analysis, process optimization, and working in a technology-driven business environment.
