Onsite Operations Helper

Overview

The Onsite Operations Helper plays a vital role in supporting seamless and secure operational activities by assisting the Operator and ensuring workflow efficiency is maintained at all times. This position demands strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal standards while contributing to minimizing environmental impact within RSA-TALKE's operations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in the safe and effective filling of materials in line with customer and company directives under team leaders' supervision.
• Ensure full adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and internal business standards.
• Help conduct pre-loading inspections such as verifying valves, seals, labels, and overall equipment condition.
• Support safe connection and disconnection of hoses following operational protocols.
• Confirm adequate grounding and bonding before and throughout operational activities.
• Monitor and oversee product transfer processes, including pressure and flow rate checks as well as recognizing abnormalities.
• Promptly detect and react to minor leaks or irregular operational occurrences.
• Complete post-operation procedures such as closing valves, sealing lids, and documenting activities comprehensively.
• Strictly comply with permit-to-work systems and health, safety, security, environment, and quality (HSSEQ) procedures.
• When authorized, guide truck and reach stacker drivers to ensure correct trailer positioning within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and the good condition of equipment before and after use.
• Uphold high housekeeping standards within the working area.
• Report any equipment faults and assist in monitoring corrective measures until resolved.
• Ensure labeling lines comply with regulatory and customer specifications.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks on operational equipment.
• Provide additional support to the maintenance team when required.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere strictly to all defined safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Utilize specialized personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed during cleaning or maintenance duties.
• Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations thoroughly.
• Accurately execute work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
