Role Overview

The Operations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring outstanding guest experiences and efficient, safe operational management within a dynamic theme park setting. This role involves overseeing the opening and closing procedures of the leisure facility, managing day-to-day ride operations, enforcing safety protocols, and responding effectively to emergencies. The position demands energetic service delivery, operational precision, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests while strictly enforcing ride regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct accurate height measurements and safety verifications for ride participants.
• Distribute and fit safety equipment as necessary, providing clear instructions to ensure compliance.
• Safely start and shut down rides following established protocols.
• Manage queue systems to optimize wait times and ride throughput.
• Operate ride controls and emergency stop mechanisms promptly in unexpected situations.
• Document daily ride performance including downtime, throughput, and staff breaks with accuracy.
• Ensure all operations adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies.
• Lead small teams during ride nonoperational periods or emergencies, maintaining calm and order.
• Execute emergency procedures effectively to protect guests and staff.
• Provide engaging, personalized guest interactions to uphold exceptional service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere in attraction areas.
• Perform additional duties aimed at improving facility operations and guest satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum higher secondary education or equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities for positive guest engagement.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a problem-solving mindset.
• Energetic personality passionate about guest interaction and memorable experiences.
• Capacity to remain focused and calm during high-pressure situations and extended shifts.
• Commitment to honesty, responsibility, and rigorous safety standards.

Preferred Attributes

• At least one year of relevant experience operating rides or attractions in another theme park.
• Proficiency in Arabic to enhance communication with a multicultural visitor base.
• Experience with safe and efficient machinery operation.
• Leadership skills for managing small teams in challenging situations.
• Ability to maintain prolonged concentration for safe ride operation.
• Multitasking skills to handle concurrent emergencies and operational tasks.
