Overview
This opportunity is offered through a partner organization based in the United States. The role aims to enhance and manage the employee experience within a dynamic company. The People Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing essential HR functions to provide consistent support throughout employees' tenure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer comprehensive employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, COBRA, and more.
- Serve as a reliable resource advising employees on benefits, life changes, leave policies, and workplace accommodations.
- Maintain effective partnerships with benefits vendors, brokers, carriers, and other external entities to ensure problem resolution and service excellence.
- Handle daily operation and upkeep of HR systems, employee records, workflow management, and documentation.
- Optimize and manage HR technology platforms, identifying opportunities for simplification and automation of processes.
- Ensure all employment documentation, compliance records, policies, and organizational controls meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Coordinate smooth onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees.
- Collaborate with leadership and legal teams to uphold consistent employment practices and compliance.
- Document and refine HR processes to support scalable growth.
- Handle confidential employee information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in people operations, human resources, benefits administration, or related operational roles.
- Proficient in managing employee benefits programs and providing employee support through benefits inquiries, life events, and leave management.
- Skilled in HR systems management, record accuracy, and operational workflow improvements.
- Experience managing external vendor and broker relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, documentation requirements, accommodations, and leave processes.
- Ability to develop and enhance HR processes in a growing company environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on precision and detail.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex topics clearly and empathetically.
- Good problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive, service-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment handling sensitive information.
