About Help at Home
Help at Home, a leading provider of in-home support services with over 40 years of experience, is actively hiring compassionate caregivers to join their team in Hattiesburg, MS. This role involves helping seniors and vulnerable clients with day-to-day tasks and contributing positively to their quality of life.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one in-home assistance including light housekeeping such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
- Support clients with personal care activities including medication reminders and meal assistance
- Accompany clients outside the home for errands like grocery shopping and other activities
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Completion of at least 8th grade education or higher
- Relevant experience in caregiving preferred
- Access to insured, reliable transportation is required
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and completion of necessary training mandated by the organization and state
- Must meet state-mandated background screening requirements
