Planner

About the Role

We are looking to hire a Planner with three to five years of relevant experience to work with a medium-sized Main Building Contractor on a hospitality project located in County Clare, Ireland. This role focuses on creating, managing, and integrating comprehensive project schedules from start to finish, coordinating timelines across various trades and specialized disciplines. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams spanning Engineering, Design, and Construction sectors and to contribute from the project's initial phases onward.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project schedule from the outset.
• Set project goals, timelines, and milestones, ensuring adherence throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage and control project schedules and tools effectively.
• Lead Interactive Planning Workshops to support schedule alignment.
• Analyze and identify the critical path for efficient workflow management.
• Utilize MS Project and Primavera P6 software for scheduling tasks.
• Provide regular schedule updates and performance reports, noting deviations and proposing corrective measures.
• Engage in Constructability Reviews to ensure project feasibility.
• Communicate planning tools and objectives to facilitate achievement of project targets.

Candidate Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar planning role within a Main Contract environment.
• Experience with hospitality, commercial, or related fit-out/build projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven with good decision-making capabilities.
• Effective at time management and solving complex problems.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base annual salary range between €60,000 and €70,000.
