Planning Assistant

About the Role

The Site Planning Assistant will work directly with the Site Planner to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and business demands within the tactical planning horizon for designated product lines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage weekly and daily production schedules, aligning output plans with inventory, capacity constraints, cycle times, and yield factors to meet On-Time Delivery goals.
• Initiate manufacturing processes by preparing wafers using MAM and SAP systems.
• Monitor deviations from plans, devise recovery and backfill strategies for upcoming weeks, and communicate risks with root cause analysis and mitigation measures.
• Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, Central Planning, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure commitments are on track and actions are implemented.
• Highlight critical risks supported by analytical impact assessments and propose mitigation approaches.

Additional Duties

• Integrate AI-assisted tools to enhance work efficiency, quality, and effectiveness while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement culture by testing and promoting AI-enabled enhancements within assigned tasks.
• Streamline planning processes and automate reporting through Tableau and Excel dashboards.
• Support new product introduction and engineering kitting activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Basic proficiency in digital tools and AI literacy to utilize AI-enabled applications responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, and operational objectives.

Technical Expertise

• Experienced in production and materials planning.
• Competent in capacity analysis and optimization methods.
• Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong skills in data analysis and report generation.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on familiarity with SAP warehouse modules and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) management.
• Experience handling Material Review Board (MRB) resolutions.
