Role overview

The Porter role is focused on keeping the facility, buildings, and common areas clean, safe, and sanitary to TA standards. The goal is to provide a pleasant environment that helps every traveler leave in better condition than they arrived.

Key duties

• Support a positive, customer-focused workplace while working cooperatively with the team.
• Clean assigned areas throughout the facility and maintain a sanitary environment for guests.
• Follow safety and security procedures, identify unsafe situations involving employees or customers, report them, and take corrective steps when needed.
• Use protective equipment correctly and safely.
• Understand the quantity and type of cleaning materials required for each task.
• Carry out additional work-related tasks as assigned.

Pay and employment notes

The role offers an hourly wage of $12.00 to $14.00, depending on responsibilities, job requirements, relevant experience, and skills. Benefit eligibility may vary by team member.

Physical requirements

This job regularly involves speaking and hearing. It may occasionally require standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive leg movements. Work environment

Work may involve outdoor conditions in all seasons. The role can also expose the employee to fumes, particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, and strong cleaning chemicals. Noise levels may be loud at times.
