Role Overview
The Principal Product Manager will lead the strategic direction and development of SimSpace's cybersecurity and AI readiness platform. This includes enhancing capabilities for AI training, testing, evaluation, and validation in realistic cyber environments to empower mission-critical organizations worldwide. The role entails close collaboration with engineering, design, cybersecurity experts, and business teams to ensure products are innovative, customer-focused, and commercially differentiated.
Key Duties
- Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and roadmap supporting AI Proving Grounds, agent validation, cyber tool effectiveness, automation, and realistic cyber training/testing.
- Analyze trends at the nexus of AI, cybersecurity, autonomous agents, cyber ranges, and security operations to guide product strategy.
- Prioritize initiatives by evaluating customer impact, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
- Convert complex market demands into actionable product plans with clear success metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive product delivery.
- Compose detailed functional and non-functional requirements emphasizing performance, scalability, security, and integration.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continued adoption, measuring impact and driving improvements.
- Leverage cybersecurity expertise to align platform capabilities with realistic threat scenarios and operational workflows.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization and with customers to align goals, resolve conflicts, and communicate progress.
- Champion user-centric design to serve technical users and executive decision-makers alike.
- Define key performance indicators and track product success against goals.
- Mentor junior product managers and foster excellence in product thinking and execution.
Required Qualifications
- At least eight years of product management or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, platform engineering, or related enterprise technology.
- Experience managing complex platform or infrastructure products, developer platforms, or AI/ML systems.
- Strong technical knowledge enabling collaboration with engineering leaders on architecture, APIs, scalability, and security tradeoffs.
- Proven ability to define clear product requirements driving engineering focus and customer value.
- Strategic insight connecting technology investments with market differentiation and business impact.
- Understanding of cybersecurity domains including threat emulation, detection, response, and controls validation.
- Familiarity with enterprise B2B stakeholder engagement and technical buying processes.
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts into clear strategies and customer messages.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, autonomous agents, large language models, and evaluation workflows.
- Background with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems, and automation.
- Experience related to cyber ranges, security operations, threat emulation, or incident response.
- Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, penetration testing, and threat intelligence frameworks.
- Experience delivering products serving diverse user bases from technical operators to executives.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH, PMP) are advantageous.

- Base salary ranging between 215000 and 250000 USD annually, with eligibility for annual performance bonuses.
