Job Overview
Saleh Al-Rajhi & Partners Co. Ltd is seeking a Procurement Representative based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires managing purchasing activities, supplier relations, and ensuring procurement compliance within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify purchase requests for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify and establish connections with suitable suppliers and potential new vendors.
- Request quotations, conduct negotiations on pricing, discounts, and commercial terms.
- Develop price comparisons, assess supplier proposals, and issue purchase orders.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure goods are delivered on time to warehouses.
- Address issues related to defective or non-compliant materials, coordinating with suppliers on corrective measures.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers to secure ongoing support and quality service.
- Conduct vendor evaluations and supplier site visits when necessary.
- Prepare procurement performance reports, highlight challenges, and suggest improvements for better efficiency.
- Ensure all procurement operations align with organizational policies, procedures, and approved budgets.
- Track market trends, assess supplier performances, and explore sourcing opportunities to optimize costs and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; candidates with a High School Diploma and relevant experience may also be eligible.
- Minimum 4 years of procurement or supply chain experience for diploma holders; 6 years required for high school graduates.
- Good understanding of procurement workflows, supplier management, and purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and electronic procurement tools is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Capability to analyze supplier quotations, compare offers, and make budget-conscious purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Capacity to manage multiple procurement requests under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
