Position Overview

This role is for a core product engineer who acts beyond coding tasks. You will actively identify customer challenges, devise solutions, and launch your work into production from day one. The environment values rapid iteration without traditional code reviews. Working pairs and a "figure-it-out" mindset are critical. The ideal candidate thrives on extreme ownership and desires immediate business impact from their contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of features, spanning initial customer problem identification through to deployment.
• Develop and improve infrastructure and management tools related to voice AI agents.
• Deploy code directly to production multiple times daily without safety nets.
• Collaborate closely with founding leadership to guide product strategy.
• Address complex engineering challenges focusing on delivering user value over technical perfection.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable high initiative through side projects, hackathons, or solo ventures outside regular work.
• Experience working in fast-paced, YC-style startup environments with pragmatic decision-making skills.
• Strong foundational engineering knowledge, possibly acquired from distinguished technical institutions such as HPI.
• A product-first mindset prioritizing customer outcomes above specific technology proficiency, although familiarity with TypeScript, Python, and AI is present.
• Must be willing to work fully on-site in Berlin; relocation and visa assistance are provided for outstanding candidates.

Hiring Process

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between 85,000 and 160,000 Euros.
