Position Summary

We are searching for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our fast-growing team in Boston, MA. This role focuses on partnering with colleges and universities to implement Flywire's product suite successfully. Candidates with a background in project management within higher education and SaaS integrations, who are eager to work in fintech, will find this role rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple multi-phase projects simultaneously from start to finish, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery that meets scope.
• Oversee and deliver projects for education clients post-contract execution.
• Collaborate with consultants, technical teams, product managers, engineering support, and external vendors to define project scope, create plans, and align on client goals while evaluating technical feasibility.
• Maintain clear communication, manage client expectations, and mitigate risks among all stakeholders.
• Provide detailed weekly status reports to management covering progress, timeline updates, risks, and upcoming milestones.
• Work cross-functionally to identify and propose improvements, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience.
• Preferred experience in SaaS companies or higher education environments.
• Strong verbal and written client-facing communication skills.
• Excellent organizational ability, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
• Basic technical knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, Web Services, SFTP, file troubleshooting, and enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and related software processes.
• Preferred knowledge of Peoplesoft, Colleague, Ellucian, and Banner products.

Additional Information

• Competitive salary and benefits package; US base salary range $95,000 to $115,000 annually.
