ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Role Overview
This position involves collaborating with project requestors, stakeholders, and internal teams to clearly define project goals and to develop detailed plans for project execution. The role requires leading efforts to define project scopes, operational necessities, budget planning, risk management, and facilitating the transition from planning to construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with requestors and stakeholders to clarify project objectives and compile project intent with business justifications.
- Lead evaluation and prioritization of project requests in line with operational needs and organizational goals.
- Define project scope while considering operational demands, equipment, staffing, workflow, and spatial requirements.
- Develop and manage cost estimates through planning and design, aligning budget with scope and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, assumptions, operational effects, and construction feasibility issues to ensure project success.
- Assess current conditions including workflows, facility constraints, and operational processes to aid in planning and scope definition.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on feasibility, constructability, operational impacts, and long-term facility planning.
- Manage the preconstruction project pipeline by aligning resources, project priorities, and capital expenditure within organizational aims.
- Oversee project governance aspects such as approvals, documentation, consultant coordination, and procurement during preconstruction.
- Ensure proper alignment and readiness for construction during project transition phases regarding scope, budget, schedule, and permits.
- Work with Construction Project Management on managing changes impacting scope, budget, schedule, and operational requirements.
- Support post-construction project evaluations to confirm objectives are met and identify lessons for continuous improvement.
- Handle facilities capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
- Manage procurement and engagement with consultants, including scope creation, selection, contracts, and preconstruction support coordination.
- Coordinate project requirements related to new equipment installation, replacements, and operational changes.
- Administer projects without formal design services, managing all key aspects from scope through scheduling and coordination.
- Continuously refine preconstruction processes, standards, and best practices for consistent project delivery.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Architecture, Design, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least five years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Facilities Project Management, Preconstruction, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and control project budgets, estimates, schedules, and financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
Certifications and Other Requirements
- Active or pursuing relevant certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED is advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Compensation
The annual salary range is approximately $89,422 to $119,230.
