Project Manager - Quality Improvement

Job Overview

The Project Manager for Quality Improvement leads and oversees projects aimed at enhancing quality initiatives across the organization. This role requires managing all stages of the project lifecycle by ensuring seamless coordination, effective communication, and thorough documentation in line with established project management protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate meetings involving all project participants.
• Gather and clarify project objectives and requirements to define scope, documented formally in project charters.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to accurately capture and communicate relevant business workflows and processes to stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed according to established quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive and accessible systems for managing project documentation and templates.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analyses during the project lifecycle with stakeholder participation.
• Promote constructive and professional communication among all parties involved.
• Record and disseminate minutes and follow-up tasks from meetings.
• Identify and manage challenges throughout projects, invoking escalation procedures when needed.
• Ensure compliance with Data Use and Security Policy, HIPAA, and user access guidelines across all project activities.
• Manage vendor communications and engagements to support project goals efficiently.
• Handle procurement and contract-related tasks essential for project execution.
• Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to interpret and communicate technology-related project elements such as infrastructure, software requirements, and KPI data.
• Regularly monitor and report project progress and outcomes including ROI and KPI impacts.
• Facilitate capturing and integrating lessons learned with stakeholder input for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare project management involving complex requirements, deadlines, and multiple resources.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $83,483.92 and $149,453.82 annually (USD).
