Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Risk Coordinator to strengthen our construction projects team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and monitoring risks to ensure successful project execution and adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate with multiple teams to formulate and apply effective risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Detect, assess, and document potential risks in construction projects, covering technical, financial, scheduling, and operational aspects.
• Develop and update detailed risk registers and assessment matrices for assigned projects.
• Monitor risk indicators and promptly escalate critical issues to project leadership and senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to collect risk data and ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for project teams and executive reviews.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure organizational risk policies and Saudi Arabian construction regulations are consistently followed.
• Maintain systematic documentation and databases of risk-related information and historical project records.
• Participate actively in risk assessment meetings and workshops to encourage early risk identification.
• Help improve risk management methodologies and tools on an ongoing basis.
• Effectively communicate risk updates and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in risk management, project controls, or construction project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of evaluating complex scenarios.
• Solid knowledge of risk assessment techniques and frameworks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with project management software.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Understanding of construction industry standards, terminology, and delivery methodologies.
• Awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• High attention to detail and dedication to accurate documentation and reporting.
• Capability to work collaboratively within team environments and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications related to risk management, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Experience using specialized risk management tools and software.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and local compliance.
• Prior experience with construction project delivery or engineering contexts.
• Knowledge of contract management and procurement processes.
