Safety Inspector

About the Role

Alrashed Industrial Company seeks Safety Inspectors to oversee health, safety, and environmental assurance on the factory floor. This role involves performing site inspections, assessing risks, managing safety documentation, and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out systematic inspections across various work sections to verify adherence to company HSE policies and approved schedules.
• Detect and document unsafe actions, hazardous conditions, violations, and deviations; provide timely reports.
• Collaborate with departments to aid Hazard Identification and Risk Evaluation processes.
• Contribute to Job Hazard Analysis efforts by pinpointing hazards, evaluating risk levels, and documenting findings within designated timeframes.
• Confirm site preparedness for Permit to Work operations, oversee execution, and enforce compliance with safety measures.
• Assist in the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses, injuries, and illnesses, ensuring corrective actions are tracked.
• Keep the Corrective Action Register updated and maintain all HSE documentation using approved digital platforms.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions as assigned to enhance awareness.
• Supervise firefighting gear, emergency responses, waste disposal, and environmental procedures to confirm compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a Safety Diploma or related professional certificate in occupational safety.
• Occupational safety and health practitioner certification is desirable.
• Strong command of English communication, both written and verbal.
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite and digital reporting tools is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to maintain professional discipline in the field and prepare clear and thorough reports.
• Accepts entry-level candidates demonstrating a solid work ethic and reporting capability.

Skills and Competencies

• Fluency in written and spoken English suitable for professional documentation and communication.
• Ability to compose accurate inspection reports, record HSE observations, and document violations efficiently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Lists.
• Strong prioritization and time management capabilities ensuring completion of responsibilities under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with accountability and professionalism.
• Effective coordination skills to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Discipline in conducting routine field inspections, monitoring Permit to Work activities, verifying firefighting systems, and documenting safety-related events and corrective actions.
