About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Stripe based in Dublin, you will play a key role in fueling the company’s growth by collaborating closely with Demand Generation and Account Executive teams. Your focus will be on qualifying prospective leads and nurturing early-stage sales funnel activities. You will thrive on engaging with potential clients to assess their needs accurately, identify valuable opportunities, and contribute to refining sales processes and messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify promising businesses, industries, and markets for outreach and formulate outbound sales strategies to attract them to Stripe
• Qualify leads generated by Marketing and transition solid prospects toward sales engagement by setting up meetings
• Lead campaign creation and execution—from brainstorming ideas to qualifying calls—while optimizing for scalability
• Standardize and improve sales workflows and best practices for both mass and customized customer interactions
• Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling and respond to inquiries originating from Marketing efforts
• Collaborate with Account Executives to strategize and prospect assigned accounts effectively
• Develop rapport with prospective customers by asking insightful questions to assess interest and viability before sales handoff
• Follow up with interested potential customers who have not yet engaged in a sales opportunity
• Consistently meet or exceed lead engagement SLAs, maintain up-to-date CRM records, and contribute to weekly reporting
• Work alongside Marketing to provide input that enhances audience targeting and messaging effectiveness
• Assist customers with activation and implementation of Stripe’s contracted services

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Demonstrated past success or strong performance record
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Genuine enthusiasm for technology and innovation
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Work Environment and Location

This position is office-based in Dublin, Ireland, with an expectation that employees spend at least half of their time onsite monthly. Some roles, including this one, require full-time office presence depending on team needs and user support demands. The balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration varies by team and will be clarified during hiring discussions.

Compensation and Benefits

The target total annual earnings (OTE), including base salary and commissions or bonuses, range between €56,560 and €84,800 for this role in the Dublin office. Actual salary will be finalized based on experience, qualifications, and location, and additional benefits may include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health coverage, and wellness stipends. Further compensation details will be provided during the interview process.
