About the Role
This position centers on direct sales and promotion of Vaporesso/Dojo products within the UK's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail sector. The chosen candidate will actively engage convenience shops and tobacco retailers to boost product sales and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular face-to-face visits to retail outlets such as convenience stores and tobacco shops to pitch and sell Vaporesso and Dojo products, ensuring optimal product stocking and promotion.
- Develop and sustain strong, long-term partnerships with store owners and key decision-makers to uncover new sales opportunities and expand market reach.
- Continuously monitor competitor pricing, activities, and customer preferences within the FMCG and vaping retail markets, relaying insights to headquarters to enhance sales and marketing approaches.
- Negotiate for greater shelf presence and in-store visibility to strengthen brand recognition, alongside organizing promotional initiatives.
- Support in-store promotions, participate in roadshows, and contribute to industry events to bolster sales and brand engagement efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education: high school diploma.
- Proven experience in direct sales within FMCG, especially retail channels, with a successful history of meeting or surpassing sales targets via in-person visits and negotiations. Experience in e-cigarette, tobacco, or corresponding FMCG categories is advantageous.
- Possess strong persuasion and sales skills, comfortable performing cold calls and direct pitching at retail locations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-driven with a goal-oriented mindset capable of working autonomously.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be prepared for extensive travel within the designated area. Knowledge of local FMCG markets and principal players is essential.
