Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions in production environments, specifically with applications based on large language models (LLMs).
• Expertly handle document understanding technologies, including OCR, data extraction, and layout parsing, to build efficient processing pipelines.
• Implement end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems covering retrieval, embeddings generation, vector indexing, re-ranking, grounding, and documentation of citations.
• Create workflows involving Agentic AI, including function/tool calling, orchestration frameworks, state and memory management, and implementation of operational guardrails.
• Manage vector databases and optimize semantic search solutions for relevance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Utilize strong Python programming skills and common AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, alongside API and service development experience using FastAPI and ReactJS.
• Possess good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like GenAI capabilities, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, IAM, and network fundamentals, including logging and monitoring.
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps best practices including continuous integration/deployment, model and version control, automated testing, evaluation pipelines, and monitoring in production.
• Demonstrate sound software engineering practices covering data structures, system design, secure coding, unit and integration testing, performance tuning.
• Experience working under regulated environments with information security and privacy standards, including handling personally identifiable information (PII), encryption, and access control is desirable.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or possess equivalent practical experience.
