The Senior Financial Analyst position is part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and reports to the Senior Manager of FP&A. This role is instrumental in supporting Roku's Advertising Sales and Product FP&A teams, developing automated forecasting and reporting tools that provide actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate actual financial results and forecasts across various business units to aid in long-term strategic planning, annual budgets, and financial close and forecast cycles.
• Generate comprehensive reports covering full profit and loss statements, including revenue, operating profits, units, and staffing metrics.
• Partner closely with FP&A colleagues to develop clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership that link financial results with key performance indicators and future projections.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create, monitor, and analyze KPIs across multiple business segments.
• Produce both regular and ad hoc financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Champion the advancement and standardization of reporting tools and presentations used company-wide.
• Manage and refine authoritative data sources that feed into financial reporting processes.
• Prepare detailed materials and analyses for executive and board-level presentations.

Desired Experience and Skills

• Minimum of three years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or similar analytical roles within technology sectors preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex business drivers and deliver insightful reports.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and leading initiatives to completion.
• Experience designing and implementing new financial processes and reporting systems in dynamic, evolving environments.
• Ability to handle peak workload periods related to financial close, forecasting, and corporate governance events.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Skilled in handling large and complex datasets.
• Familiarity with data and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Looker, SQL, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or NetSuite is advantageous.

The compensation package includes a salary range of approximately $131,000 to $144,000 annually for California-based employees, with variations based on expertise, certifications, and location.
