Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior System Administrator experienced in Microsoft infrastructure to oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise Microsoft environments. This role involves managing Active Directory, Windows Server systems, Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, ADFS, identity and access control, PKI, virtualization, endpoint management, and enterprise mobility platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and administer Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, domain controllers, along with cluster failover and site management.
• Manage Windows Server environments on physical and virtual frameworks, ensuring system health, performance, and capacity monitoring.
• Handle patching, security hardening, backups, and operational readiness processes.
• Maintain identity and access services such as ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, and Single Sign-On solutions, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity policies.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365, including mail flow, database availability groups, licensing, and hybrid environments.
• Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate authority services, including certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation.
• Oversee virtualization platforms like Hyper-V, VMware, and hyperconverged infrastructures ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and support incident, problem, and change management.
• Manage enterprise mobility solutions such as Ivanti EPMM, MobileIron, VMware Workspace ONE, overseeing device enrollment, compliance, and security.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among cybersecurity, network, application, and service teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, security assessments, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Comprehensive hands-on expertise with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and failover clustering.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, ADFS, SSO, RBAC, and identity governance mechanisms.
• Professional experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 services.
• Proficient in managing PKI and certificate-based authentication and Certificate Authority operations.
• Strong background with enterprise virtualization technologies including Hyper-V and VMware.
• Competent in PowerShell scripting for automation of repetitive administrative activities.
• Experience with enterprise mobility management tools like Ivanti EPMM, MobileIron, and VMware Workspace ONE.
• Awareness of cybersecurity hardening, access controls, compliance standards, and IT infrastructure best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Mandatory certifications: Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications: MCSA/MCSE, VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Professional, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, Microsoft Enterprise Administrator, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+.

Experience Requirements

At least 9 years dedicated to Microsoft infrastructure and system administration with a minimum of 3 years in senior or lead roles managing enterprise-scale environments and collaborating closely with IT and cybersecurity teams, vendors, and service providers.
