Job Overview
CSC Fund Services (India) Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Customer Portfolio Partner to take ownership of complex customer project portfolios. This role demands senior project management expertise, excellent communication, and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority portfolios in a dynamic environment. The candidate will interact with leadership peers and C-suite stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule, scope, and budget.
Enterprise Technology PMO Context
The Enterprise Technology (ET) Project Management Office (PMO) supports various technology initiatives including application services, infrastructure, cloud, and security for CSC. The Customer Portfolio Partner Team is critical to delivering portfolio management services across a range of projects such as platform modernization, infrastructure upgrades, office relocations, and process standardization.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business unit requests into clear technology objectives aligned with broader strategy.
- Prioritize and sequence work requests supporting business goals.
- Create detailed project plans addressing scope, schedule, resources, and budgets.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies with timely escalation.
- Represent the brand professionally in customer interactions and maintain trusted partnerships.
- Lead cross-functional teams ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement including internal and external partners.
- Mentor project team members and junior partners to enhance team capability.
- Track progress using KPIs and prepare status reports for leadership.
- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead meetings such as kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve project management processes and adopt best practices tailored to project needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years progressive project management experience in technology/software, with at least 3 years leading enterprise-scale portfolios.
- Proven success delivering large, complex customer-facing programs on time and budget with executive level accountability.
- Strong knowledge of methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
- Proficiency in tools like ServiceNow and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in risk and change management processes.
- PMP certification preferred; advanced Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ScrumMaster) highly desirable.
