Internship Overview

This internship is part of our inaugural engineering internship batch. Over a 12-week period, interns will be paired with mentors and involved in developing AI-native projects that significantly benefit both customers and the engineering team. The internship spans from September 14 to December 4 and requires presence at our San Francisco headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, secure, well-tested, and documented codebases.
• Contribute to extending and enhancing product features with a focus on AI-first design principles.
• Engage in full-stack development including web services, databases, and applications using up-to-date frameworks and tools.

Candidate Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, with an expected graduation before summer 2027.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Proficiency or ongoing learning in programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
• A passion for tackling large-scale challenges and a delight in identifying and resolving problems.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities within a fast-moving, dynamic work environment.
• Availability to work onsite in San Francisco for the internship duration.

Preferred Skills

• Strong enthusiasm for AI technologies, including experience or prototyping with large language models, embeddings, or machine learning.
• Excellent problem decomposition skills and a thoughtful approach to solutions, with comfort in collaborative and independent work.

Compensation & Policy

Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience and the role's complexity, with estimates around $57 per hour for bachelor's degree holders and $61 per hour for those with a master’s degree, reflecting the San Francisco location.
