Job description
Role Overview
We are recruiting for a Software Quality Engineer role to work remotely on a full-time basis. The position involves working with complex coding tasks in an agentic coding environment, focusing on reviewing model outputs, validating solutions, and producing detailed, high-quality annotations. Candidates will engage in debugging code, verifying behavior according to strict guidelines, and ensuring consistent task execution across model iterations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform realistic coding assignments within the prescribed agentic coding system while maintaining model neutrality and session independence.
- Adhere to task guidelines, milestones, interactions, and evaluation parameters consistently throughout all model runs.
- Confirm model-generated outputs by thoroughly inspecting code, running commands, analyzing logs, and reviewing produced artifacts.
- Create multi-step, realistic coding exercises incorporating user intent and structured milestones for offline evaluation purposes.
- Document clear, precise, and evidence-supported rationales when ranking and assessing trajectory performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages for code examination and debugging: Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or SQL.
- Prior experience handling realistic software development tasks surpassing basic or superficial code review challenges.
- Capability to develop targeted evaluation rubrics and binary scoring criteria tailored to model outputs.
- Strong attention to detail to guarantee consistent, accurate annotations and evaluation quality.
- Comfortable with debugging practices, validation of tests, and manual verification of software behavior.
