Role overview
Mobilution IT Systems Pvt Ltd is hiring a Solution Architect for its Hyderabad location. This position is focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable, cloud-first identity and access management solutions for customer-facing systems.
The role calls for a strong software engineering background, deep hands-on expertise in AWS Cognito, and practical experience building CIAM and IAM solutions. Because this is a client-facing position, excellent communication skills are essential.
What you will do
- Architect enterprise identity and access management solutions built on AWS Cognito.
- Lead the design and delivery of customer identity and access management platforms.
- Create secure login and access flows using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
- Design authentication journeys such as multi-factor authentication, passwordless login, social sign-in, and identity federation.
- Connect AWS Cognito with business applications, APIs, and third-party identity providers.
- Work with application teams to embed secure identity services into products and platforms.
- Build reusable authentication components, APIs, and SDK-based integrations.
- Design API security using JWT, OAuth, and Cognito User Pools.
- Set up identity federation with providers such as Okta, Ping Identity, or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Apply Zero Trust thinking, security best practices, and relevant compliance requirements in solution design.
- Take part in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Support CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices for identity-related services.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams on identity architecture decisions.
Technical and role requirements
- 10+ years of overall experience in software development and solution architecture.
- At least 5 years of practical experience with AWS Cognito.
- Proven delivery of enterprise IAM and CIAM solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native application delivery on AWS.
- Solid understanding of secure software development and API protection.
- Must have excellent communication skills because the role interacts directly with clients.
- Experience with Okta or Ping Identity is highly desirable.
Skills and technologies
Required and relevant experience includes AWS Cognito, IAM, CIAM, identity federation, authentication and authorization architecture, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, JWT, MFA, API security, AWS cloud services, and secure application design.
Development and delivery experience should include Java or Node.js, with Python as a plus, along with REST APIs, microservices, Spring Boot where applicable, AWS SDKs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Helpful exposure includes multi-tenant identity design, Zero Trust architectures, AWS Well-Architected principles, mobile and web identity integrations, serverless systems, and security standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.

Additional information
This is an on-site role based in Hyderabad, India. The compensation offered is INR 20,00,000 to INR 25,00,000 per year.
