Solutions Engineer - DoiT Cloud Intelligence (Thai Speaking)

Overview

We are seeking a native Thai-speaking Solutions Engineer to join our DoiT Cloud Intelligence team remotely within the APJ timezone. The role involves supporting Thai customers, prospects, and AWS field teams by applying deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, especially AWS, alongside multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and AWS teams to deeply understand customers' cloud infrastructure, FinOps maturity, and goals by conducting technical discovery sessions across various organizational teams.
• Lead the technical validation process and Proof of Value (POV) engagements for DCI, ensuring alignment with prospects’ needs and clear demonstration of value.
• Prepare and deliver tailored platform demonstrations in Thai and English, emphasizing cloud cost visibility and operational insights.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses that communicate financial and operational benefits of DCI adoption to technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with AWS and local partners on co-selling, pipeline generation, and accelerator programs, supporting go-to-market and partner initiatives.
• Perform hands-on cloud engineering tasks focused on optimizing cost, resilience, security, and automating operations, including architectural assessments and reliability reviews.
• Become a regional DCI expert, creating analytics, Composer queries, automation workflows, and integrating DCI into customer governance and CI/CD processes.
• Support technical engagements for MSPs, PE firms, and System Integrators by showcasing portfolio-level analytics and strategies for managing multi-cloud environments.
• Own the technical sales process end-to-end, addressing technical requirements and building customer confidence in DCI.
• Create reusable technical assets such as playbooks, automation modules, and documentation, and conduct customer enablement sessions in Thai.
• Represent DoiT at industry events, webinars, and conferences through engaging presentations and demonstrations.
• Provide product feedback from customer and partner insights to influence the evolution of the Cloud Intelligence platform, acting as the voice of the Thai and APAC technical community.
• Ensure timely and accurate internal documentation and contribute to performance and business metrics.

Qualifications and Experience

• Native fluency in Thai (written and spoken) with professional proficiency in English.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS production workloads, including capability across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and observability; GCP or Azure experience is a plus.
• Proven background in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Field Engineering supporting enterprise or mid-market clients.
• Strong expertise in one or more domains like cloud infrastructure, data analytics, or ML/GenAI.
• Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management, able to explain trade-offs in cost, performance, and reliability to technical and financial stakeholders.
• Experience with observability tools and concepts including monitoring, logging, and alerting; familiarity with Datadog, New Relic, ServiceNow, or native cloud tools.
• Automation skills with coding/scripting ability, Infrastructure as Code (especially Terraform), and CI/CD experience.
• Strong analytical capability working with large data sets to identify trends and anomalies.
• Effective communication skills including simplifying complex technologies and presenting to executives.
• Experience working in multi-functional account teams across diverse time zones, comfortable in metric-driven environments.
• High intellectual curiosity, problem-solving aptitude, and passion for continuous improvement.

Additional Preferred Credentials

• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional, Advanced Networking, or Machine Learning, or FinOps Certified Practitioner.
• Experience collaborating with AWS partner programs, MSPs, or SIs.
• Background in FinOps, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management platforms like DCI.
• Datacenter and virtualization experience relevant to cloud migration.
• Expertise in modern technical sales tactics including trial, demo, POV, and RFP engagements.
• Involvement in open source projects, public speaking, or community leadership.
• Track record of thriving in fast-growing and scaling companies.
