Position Overview: Student Success Advisor

As a Student Success Advisor, you will serve as a trusted mentor to a dedicated group of enrolled students. Your role involves proactively offering guidance, managing risks that may impact student progress, and encouraging students from the start of their course until graduation through communication channels such as phone, email, and web chat. You will assist students in planning effective study pathways and promote re-enrolment in programs aligned with their academic objectives. Additionally, you will develop in-depth knowledge about our university partners and the courses offered through ongoing training and independent study.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a reliable adviser to students within your portfolio.
• Provide proactive coaching and intervention to support students facing challenges to ensure educational success.
• Guide students in managing their academic paths to optimize their study plans.
• Encourage and facilitate student re-enrolment in new courses that align with their goals.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of university partners and available course options via training and research.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated proficiency in sales to support student retention, re-enrolment efforts, and managing objections common to online learners.
• Strong relationship-building abilities to foster trust and maintain effective communication with students.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive and supportive learning experience.
• Goal-oriented mindset with experience meeting KPIs and financial targets, embodying values such as collaboration, commitment, innovation, and dedication to lifelong learning.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role requiring a standard 38-hour work week. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 7 PM, scheduled on a rotating roster.
