Role Overview

The System Administrator at CVSAIR HVAC SYSTEMS, based in Doha, Qatar, is a full-time, on-site position. This role entails installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and essential IT infrastructure that support everyday business functions. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, applying necessary updates and patches, managing backup systems, and safeguarding data security and availability. The person in this position will diagnose and fix hardware, software, and network issues, deliver technical support to users, and liaise with vendors and external partners when required. Additionally, they will document system configurations, manage IT asset inventories, and help enhance IT processes and standards continuously.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in system administration including setting up servers and workstations, handling user accounts, and routine system maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities to analyze, escalate, and resolve hardware, software, and application problems promptly.
• Knowledge of network administration covering LAN/WAN environments, basic routing and switching, and network performance monitoring.
• Broad IT expertise with working knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux), security best practices, and backup and recovery methodologies.
• Educational qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, alongside certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco credentials, are advantageous.
• Ability to work on location in Doha, handle multiple responsibilities, communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with various teams.
• Experience in industrial settings or HVAC/engineering sectors and familiarity with enterprise software, ERP systems, or building management software is considered a plus.
