Role Summary
The Technical Analyst will support the Technical Management team by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of aircraft technical records, maintenance documentation, and lease-related paperwork throughout the ownership lifecycle. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, this position involves reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining technical data that aids aircraft acquisitions, transitions, lease management, and dismantling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Technical Managers with daily oversight of owned and managed aircraft assets.
- Examine and interpret aircraft technical records for accuracy.
- Update and manage technical databases, ensuring records are comprehensive and current.
- Support aircraft acquisition processes by assessing technical documentation and highlighting pending issues.
- Generate technical summaries, maintenance status updates, and record review reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinate the organization, receipt, and archival of aircraft technical records.
- Monitor ongoing technical issues and help drive their resolution in cooperation with Technical Managers.
- Track maintenance reserve occurrences and ensure compliance with lease technical requirements where relevant.
- Collaborate with parts traders on technical documentation concerns.
- Engage in ongoing process improvements for technical records management and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related fields.
- Alternatively, significant experience in aircraft maintenance or technical records may be accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in aviation, ideally within aircraft leasing, airline engineering, MRO, CAMO, or technical records management.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing aircraft technical records is strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft technical records management.
- Familiarity with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Life Limited Parts (LLP) tracking, and maintenance planning principles.
- Strong analytical ability and effective problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and clear communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience using aircraft records management systems is a plus.
Compensation and Location
This full-time role is based onsite in Shannon, County Clare, Ireland. Salary offered ranges between €40,000 and €60,000 annually.
