Technical Solution Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled IT Architect and Integrator who will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing solid, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure systems. This multifaceted role requires bridging architecture and operations, utilizing expertise in virtualization, DevOps methodologies, and system integration to facilitate seamless data processes and operational effectiveness throughout the organization.

Primary Duties

• Architect and deploy enterprise IT solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and best industry standards.
• Set up, configure, and maintain virtualization environments using VMware technologies like vSphere and vCenter to maximize resource usage and support high availability and disaster recovery.
• Promote DevOps methodologies by automating infrastructure provision, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
• Install and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container technologies like Docker to enable cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Manage integration of diverse internal and external systems, including network monitoring and management via SNMP interfaces.
• Oversee Linux OS management, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Design and maintain robust, secure network architectures based on comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and security.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash and develop Python programs for complex tasks, data handling, and tool development.
• Produce detailed architectural documentation, diagrams, and operational manuals.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 3 years of experience as an IT Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior Systems/DevOps Engineer in complex settings.
• In-depth practical knowledge of virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
• Proficient with container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Extensive Linux administration and shell environment experience.
• Strong abilities in Bash scripting and Python programming are highly desirable.
• Well-versed in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security.
• Skilled in third-party system integration, including monitoring tools and API administration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
