Role overview
The technician will handle upkeep, repair work, and day-to-day maintenance across buildings and facilities. The role focuses on keeping structural and finishing elements in good working order while supporting basic installation, testing, and client guidance for equipment where required.
Core duties
- Carry out regular inspections and maintenance across building components such as structural features, internal and external finishes, doors, windows, flooring, and related items.
- Perform carpentry-related repairs, including rehanging doors, fixing or replacing locksets, and changing door or window accessories.
- Support partition and ceiling installation work, along with repainting tasks.
- Handle floor finishing work involving carpet, vinyl, and timber.
- Install and test new products, and explain correct usage and maintenance to clients when needed.
- Complete plumbing and sanitary repairs such as fixing leaks and replacing sanitary fittings.
- Arrange parts and materials for repair jobs as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a facilities management setting is required.
- Candidates should hold a Professional Certificate or an ITE / NTC qualification in Mechanical, Air-Con, Electrical, or Facility Management.
Additional information
The position is based in Singapore and is a full-time onsite role.
