About the Role
Join one of the world’s premier aviation companies as a Technology Associate, embarking on a dynamic one-year development journey within Emirates Group IT. This role offers fresh graduates an opportunity to gain comprehensive experience and mentorship across various technology fields, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute technical tasks aimed at creating scalable and sustainable technology solutions, applying established engineering principles.
- Analyze business and system requirements to aid in the technical design process, contributing to solution development that meets agreed-upon standards.
- Develop, configure, test, and deploy technology solutions collaboratively to satisfy functional and technical needs.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system or application problems; escalate unresolved issues following standard procedures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements while adhering to Emirates Group IT standards and best practices.
- Assist in unit testing, validation, and quality assurance activities under senior team members' guidance.
- Maintain Technology Playbooks, standards documentation, and compliance artefacts.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related technology discipline.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of exposure to current technologies through academic projects or internships in technology-related fields.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop effective technology solutions.
- Proven capacity for collaborative work within cross-functional teams, demonstrating clear communication and positive teamwork.
- Basic understanding of technology delivery frameworks, such as Agile and DevOps, and quality assurance principles including unit and functional testing and automation.
- A keen interest in learning new technologies aligned with business requirements.
- Exposure to one or more technology domains like application development, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, integrations, data technologies, digital platforms, or cybersecurity with foundational knowledge applicable to business contexts.
