About the Role
We are seeking a Telecaller to join the Sales & Marketing department, reporting to the Business Manager or Sales Manager. The primary goal of this position is to generate qualified leads, schedule appointments for the sales team, nurture customer relationships, and contribute effectively to the sales pipeline through proactive communication and diligent follow-up.
Daily Tasks
- Initiate outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide detailed information about the company's interior design services.
- Assess leads based on budget, location, and project scope.
- Organize appointments and site visits for sales personnel or designers.
- Follow up on earlier inquiries and pending quotations.
- Maintain thorough and accurate customer records using CRM systems or Excel sheets.
- Prepare daily reports regarding call activities and lead statuses.
- Collaborate with sales, design, and operations teams to coordinate customer appointments.
- Respond swiftly to customer messages via WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Gather feedback from customers after meetings or upon project completion.
- Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions.
Weekly Tasks
- Reach weekly targets for outbound calls.
- Achieve weekly goals for generating qualified leads.
- Review and plan follow-ups for all pending leads.
- Work closely with the marketing team about leads generated through campaigns.
- Ensure all scheduled appointments are completed and update their outcomes accordingly.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on lead conversion metrics.
- Identify inactive or lost leads and endeavor to re-engage them.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Recommend improvements to call scripts based on customer feedback.
Monthly Tasks
- Meet monthly objectives for lead generation, appointment setting, and sales conversions.
- Compile detailed monthly performance reports covering calls made, leads generated, appointments fixed, site visits completed, sales conversions, and follow-ups pending.
- Clean and update the customer database regularly.
- Analyze customer objections to advise on possible improvements.
- Support promotional initiatives and seasonal campaigns.
- Work with management to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Attend training on products and services.
- Contribute suggestions to improve telecalling processes and customer experiences.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number of outbound calls daily.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency in Hindi, English, and preferably Odia with excellent communication capability.
- Strong telephone etiquette that is confident and convincing.
- Effective listening and proficient at handling objections.
- Basic familiarity with interior design services and products.
- Proficient usage of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
- Capability to juggle multiple tasks and manage follow-up activities efficiently.
- Positive disposition with a strong orientation towards meeting targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
