Role Overview
The Tender Administrator will join the Tendering Team to facilitate the preparation, coordination, and submission of professional and compliant bids for significant civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role involves organizing tender information meticulously to meet client expectations and procurement criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the gathering of technical, commercial, quality, environmental, and safety data necessary for bid submissions.
- Contribute to the formatting, proofreading, and assembling of tender and prequalification documents.
- Ensure all submissions adhere strictly to client requirements and procurement guidelines.
- Maintain and regularly update libraries of project references, staff CVs, case studies, policies, and company information.
- Support bid submissions using electronic procurement portals and client platforms.
- Assist in enhancing tendering procedures, document templates, and content repositories.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably holds a tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Office Administration, or relevant fields.
- Possesses at least three years of experience in office administration, document control, tender administration, or similar roles.
- Demonstrates experience in supporting bid processes within civil engineering, construction, utilities, or related infrastructure sectors.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Highly organised with excellent communication, document management aptitude, and strong attention to detail to meet multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with electronic procurement systems and tender portals is advantageous; training will be provided if necessary.
