Role Overview

The Virtual Interviewer Registered Nurse (RN) is entrusted with conducting virtual interviews to gather health and lifestyle information from insurance applicants and claimants. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 6 PM, with one day per week working from 10 AM to 7 PM CST.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform virtual interviews with applicants or claimants in a quiet, professional space free from distractions.
• Receive calls routed from the Assessment Services Call Center to complete interviews, following a predefined script.
• Collect detailed and accurate information on client health history and care requirements, utilizing follow-up questions as needed.
• Precisely document and input data critical to underwriting and claims decisions using scripted prompts.
• Politely redirect clients or contacts to ensure conversation remains focused on required information.
• Complete all interviews efficiently within the department’s stipulated timelines.
• Submit collected documentation to underwriting teams for applicants and to insurers for claimants for review.
• Handle complex and technical intake calls with professionalism.
• Adhere strictly to compliance standards outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook, and corporate policies.
• Participate in mandatory corporate compliance training sessions as required.
• Achieve departmental quality and productivity targets.
• Attend departmental and organizational meetings as necessary.
